GRAVEDIGGER [REPRISE] (seraph ver.) is the eleventh single released under alpha.zero.

The single was released digitally on January 13th, 2026 on Youtube, SoundCloud and Bandcamp.

This release is preceded by OUROBOROS.


As a remix of the OUROBOROS track, the "seraph" version takes the surreal aesthetic of the latter half and expands on it with an experimental twist, creating an alternate take on OUROBOROS' events, in someone else's mind.

THOUGHTS:

I've wanted to have a shot at remixing an OUROBOROS track for a long time. That way, my hardcore past could collide with my greater future.

GRAVEDIGGER [REPRISE] was chosen for a second wind due to its reckless ambition and abhorrent execution: it's, in my opinion, the worst track in the album, but it has some good moments, and its significance in the story is a reason why it wasn't scrapped altogether.

So, the Aphex Twin approach was devised: make a "remix" that is essentially a brand new track. The joke here being: "REDIGGER is so bad, the only way to make it good is to just make it something else".
I had lots of fun experimenting with breakbeats, glitches, esoteric sampling (counting ~40 different samples!) and a vastly different sound, and eventually caved and used a sound or two from the original track.

There is more to the "seraph" theming than you know right now.
