THOUGHTS:

This is the first time I managed to put out a remix that actually came out the door. I've thought about doing something like this for around 3 years.

June 21st, I was sent a preview of the original track, and I immediately fell in love with the first drop. I may not show it much, but I can be a sucker for uptempo, I just think it's only good in moderation.
So, that "moderation" was about to be exercised. On the 22nd, I doodled stuff all over the track to show what I could do in a collab. I ended up getting a response on the night of the 23rd, saying the track was already finished. :3
Plans to distribute the track through the alpha.zero label fell through the exact same way! I ask, and it turns out things are already being done the other way.

Despite the technical "downgrades" of the release's caliber from a collab to a guest release to a remix, I think this project turned out pretty decent for what it is: another break from taking things seriously. Making fun stuff with no rhyme or reason.
I don't even know how any of what I did corresponds to the track's concept of nostalgia for better days. Hell, I don't even know what genre this is!
